Inspired by the desire to bring nature inside, Mira created rugs and wall hangings that would fulfill the need to have a personal space for meditation or an "oasis" within the contemporary home. The designs promote the balancing of nature with modern life.

Wool was incorporated as a natural fiber. The indigenous weavers who participated in this project reside in Oaxaca, one of Mexico’s most renowned centers for arts and crafts. They are dedicated to their ancestrial traditions of hand carding, spinning and weaving wool.
